Just had alternator rebuilt but i do not know if i had 100 amp or 130 amp alternator before.

The shop rebuilt it with 130 amp parts so will it damage anything to install 130 amp alternator if I actually had only 100 amps before?

Nope... just gives you added capacity. If your system doesn't need it, it's not used.

So what will happen with the other extra 30 amps will the voltage regulator just keep it from going too high?

Yes voltage is always regulated, only difference is maximum output.

If you can think of electron flow as water flow, think of voltage (12-14 volts your case) as pressure and amps (100 or 130 in this case) as volume. In going from a 100 amp to a 130 amp alternator, your pressure (12-14 volts) did not change, but your volume went up by 30 amps. You'll be just fine.

If you have the towing package you have the 130 Amp. Non towing is 100Amp

You may not benefit from the extra amperage if the alt fuse was not replaced. But no harm done with the higher amp kit.

They exist only as potential. In simplistic terms, if there's no demand for them, they won't materialize. Assuming that your truck had the 100amp unit prior to the rebuild, it might only have ever used 70 amps (numbers used for the sake of illustration only), leaving 30 amps of potential. Now, you'll have 60 amps of potential.

I was under the same impression, external oil cooler = full towing package. I have the pink clutch, 7-pin trailer wiring connection and hitch from factory, but no oil cooler.

The OE tow package has everything I posted in the above link.

Oil cooler is under the oil filter.

I have the external trans cooler and 130amp alternator, I have everything except the oil cooler. The previous owner did replace the engine at some point. Bet it was never transferred.

    I wouldn’t worry about it.
I’d be more concerned if you didn’t have the trans cooler.

I do not have a trans cooler or oil cooler.

I mean not an external trans cooler, mine is inside the radiator which is not good as outside.
