Have had my 12 volt solutions remote start with app module installed in my 2010 since 2019. Was using my bed outlet for a project saturday and left the key on accessory mode and forgot about it for a hour or so. Came out and my truck was fully dead so i had to jump the truck.

Went to lock my doors last night with the app and it doesn’t work. Also went to start the truck with the long range remote and noticed that doesn’t work either…
The gps feature and battery read out works fine on the app

I got my truck inspected yesterday and thought maybe something was knocked out of place when the guy plugged in the obd2 plug but i looked and nothing looks out of place.
Would my battery being fully dead from
my project on saturday result in the remote start kit needing to be reprogrammed?

    Any input is appreciated

Unplug the antenna and plug it back again, I’ve had to do that a couple of times in the 3-4 years I’ve had it.

If it helps the antenna currently isn’t blinking blue on the sides like it normally does. Not sure if that is another sign that it got unplugged or something. When i go to lock the doors on the app the icon goes green and than it turns red and obviously nothing happens

Did you double check the OBD2 port?

Yeah i looked the port and it’s still mounted in the spot which it goes. The rest of the wires are all tucked behind the kick panel. i have to pull the panel off and check the module and see what lights i have on it.
Something is clearly working as i have gps and battery voltage but just nothing else as locks and remote start aren’t working.

Try reprogramming the remote to the antenna

Yeah i am going to have to mess with it. Will also reach out to 12 volt for some tech support. Just weird it doesn’t work after being flawless for 3 years.
Only thing i can think of is the battery draining fully causing the program to be broken and not programmed anymore

Fixed it! Called you 12v and they guided me with reprogramming the module. Super helpful company another reason to buy from them !

@TRD2010SpeedwayBlue Do you still have the reprogramming steps? Mine had the battery disconnected and is doing the exact same thing. I have an email into 12 Volt Solutions, but hoping you can share the fix. I tried to do the hard reset and reprogramming but no dice.
