I am installing a OEM power outlet and inverter that I pulled from a 2009, on my 2006 Tacoma. Unfortunately, the wire from the inverter was cut as it enters the engine bay. From what I can tell it enters from the passenger side runs with the wire harness up to the driver side. I don't know if it connects directly to the battery with an inline fuse, or if it goes to a relay in the box. Can anyone help me figure out where this wire goes? I will try to post pictures as soon as I can. Any pictures from someone's stock system would be greatly appreciated.

I have installed the outlet in the bed, run the harness to the cab and inverter under the center console, continued the harness to the engine bay, and installed the power button on the right of the steering wheel. Just don't know what happens in the engine bay itself.

Okay, thanks! That will help a lot. I still would like to see an actual representation of how it all comes together. At this point I am gonna have to do some splicing but nothing too serious.
