It’s Christmas time. We all have lights up on our trucks. Mine stayed on driving around for a week, then just won’t stay on any more? 400w stays lit, but 110 doesn’t and my lights don’t work. Checked fuses (that I can find) under hood and under dash, nothing looks blown. Am I missing something?

edit- in Park they work fine, 110 and 400 both stay lit.

There are 2 modes for the bed outlet. 400w while parked, and 100w while driving. Anytime your car is in gear the inverter switches over to 100 watts. If the lights are working and its just the "400w light" thats going out then its working as designed. If your lights are drawing more than 100 watts, then it will turn off.

As others have mentioned, that’s a safety feature built in by Toyota. However, you can bypass it at your own “risk”...

Mine stay on while driving. Usually it's 100 driving and 400 idle, no?

Check the fuse box, make sure it didn't overload and pop a fuse!

You can probably find a LED Christmas light string that'll run less than 100W.

So does that mean a battery station like eco flow or jackery won't charge at 100w while driving? If I will, is it bad for the car battery or alternator?
