Now that Tom Woods has stopped making 1 piece Tacoma driveshafts due to too many returns from unrealistic expectations, who still makes them? Please post any links you find and options available so others can still purchase a 1 piece driveshaft. Don't give your opinion on 1 vs 2 as that topic has been beat to death for too many years - just give companies that make 1 piece.

Make one yourself use the older Toyota H and yoke and have a local guy weld on a longer portion. Been running mine for many years without issue.

Have you tried any local shops? I found an awesome local shop I didn't even know existed until I started asking people with major modified cars and trucks where they get theirs made. Local shop made me a 4" aluminum one piece driveshaft for about $800 I believe. I'm sure if you used some of your old parts and used steel it would be much cheaper.

My understanding of his website was you have to measure before ordering. Could it have been too many miss-measured? I would think you'd have a better chance at a local drive-shop at getting satisfaction as they would know how to measure it.

Have a FleetPride shop near you? They make driveshafts. I’ve had a few made for classic cars.

it’s more likely bad wheel bearings, unbalanced tires, worn out CV axles, bad steering racks, high drive angles, transfer case or any number of issues lead to misdiagnosed problems and single fix expectations. I know some went through all of those and still had issues but unlikely the driveshafts fault if it did it before and after.

Measurement has +/- range built in. I thought I recall 1.5” so I doubt mismeasurement was issue. But it could have contributed to issue in cases of extreme lift

I went with a local shop. They measured angles and everything and had it built in a week. Very nice and affordable. Any town that has to service large and small trucks or industrial equipment should have a driveshaft shop.
