1/2” leaf spring spacer raised truck over an 1” but I ain’t complaining. Mystery solved see update.

    '10 TRD Access Cab 6 speed manual
    TRD intake, skid plate, cat back exhaust and short throw shifter. Bilstein 5100 leveling front and 5100 shocks rear. 32” Falken WP AT4W tires on Gen 3 wheels.
    After install of a Bilstein 5100 leveling lift my rear was a tad low. Full OCD kicked in and I had the shop install 1/2” leaf spring spacers. Net gain was a little over an inch. See before and after pics.IMG_0507.jpg IMG_0513.jpg

    Yes, I’m going to trim the U bolt tails.

    Update: I used geometry to determine why a 1/2” spring spacer (aka lift block) raised the truck 1”. The springs are unequal length the front section being longer than the rear. The longer leg acts as a lever and the spacer(aka lift block) acts as a fulcrum thus lifting the truck 1”. I’m not complaining, I like the look.
