Hmmm not that I recall. I think I’ve seen one thread once about modifying a bumper to support a 1” body lift.

A body lift provides littler value for our trucks and can cause other cascading events.

What is your intent? Maybe there is a better option.

Body lifts can work well. They can allow one to maintain suspension up travel w/o burying a larger tire into the wheel well or fender. Not everyone wants to tub out the wheel wells on their vehicle.

Body lifts are junk. Install one and then go wheeling and watch what happens to the body mounts. They destroy the truck. Done.

You have proof that 1" lift will do damage when wheeling? This is a 1" not a 4" body mount lift.

The Canguro Racing, formerly Lexus/JT Grey Racing, Land Cruiser 200 Series uses a 2.5" body lift to help clear 37" KR tires while cycling 15" of wheel travel on stock arms. They win class at Baja.

With that said, I'm not going throw in a 3" bargain basement nylon block body lift in and expect to do the same. It has to be built properly, but is still far easier than cutting out wheel wells and adding glass.

EFA68BDC-31C6-488D-99C7-91BA73E22C0F.jpg Here is my truck with a 1” body lift. Took about 6 hours but I also did the cab mount chop while I had the body lose from the frame. I still need to mount the rear bumper higher on the frame.

Oh no. You put a body lift on, are you crazy. A 1” BL! Your cab will likely rip off your frame now.

So that's proof that a 1" body lift will severely damage our trucks?

So no proof other than describing the components of a body lift. Got it

I'm not running a body lift, but so far you've just described the components and now given your opinion. No proof.
