06 tacoma with 4.7 v8

06 tacoma 4 door body and frame 75,000 miles, 08 4 runner 4.7 motor was pulled from a 4 runner with 50k on it. transmission, transfer case, wiring and dash are all 4 runner

New fox 2.5 coilovers with brand new lift.
New rear old man emu leaf springs with fox shocks out back
Bushwhacker fender flares
Custom front and rear bumpers.

Front seats are from a 4 runner so they have power in both driver and passanger seat and are a lot more comfortable then the Tacoma seats.

All electronic functions work perfect the only light on the dash is the tire pressure gauge light.

Passed smog with flying colors

Paint is about 3 yrs old in really good shape and it is close to the cement color.
Brand new nitto 35/12.50/17 ridge grappler on atx wheels.

 

Ideal combo ! I wish you were closer just to come by and see how things were done.

Nice looking truck OP. Looks like you swapped the t4r tranny tunnel too? How hard was it fitting the motor in? Any chance you have a write up on the swap?

Holy hell that is awesome, and looks perfectly done. You opened up a can of worms, we're all going to have a million questions. How did you get that 4runner console to fit in there so perfectly?

 

Short of leather seats, it's like you picked that truck right out of my brain. Very, very nice.

 

Nothing short of perfect.

 

you can see that at least the whole bottom dash is 4runner maybe more. At the door you can see where the dash no longer lines up with the door panel.

 

Doesn’t look like it but is it 4wd?

 

Says it has transfer case so 4wd.
