I've been a member of TN for a few years and have never joined this forum unitl now. I was searching for a TSM for my 06 Tacoma and it looks like all the links have been removed on the various forums. Anyways, some how the link that RacecarGuy posted actually works. I thought it might be a scam, but I took a chance and I actually now have a full PDF of the 06 Tacoma TSM. Just click on RacecarGuy's link above. It takes you to ncttora manuals page which I am familar with, however they have had to remove all of the links to their manuals. Now the links are back active so I just clicked on the 06 Tacoma manual and downloaded it to my comp. Its a large file and took about 10mins. I then scanned the zip file for virus's with a couple different programs and it came back clean. When you open the zip you will see a few folders inside of folders. Just look for the largest file and click down until you find the pdfs. The zip file contains a seperate pdf for every page of the TSM. Obviously, you would never be able to use it that way. So I just used a free pdf binder tool where you select all the pdf files and click bind. I now have a Service Manual in pdf that is 5,671 pages long, but its in one file that is in correct order.

    Thanks for the link RaceCarGuy

The PDF binder idea is cool, but is everything in the correct order in your single 5000+ page PDF? Only reason I ask is because that one folder with 1411 individual PDFs are not completely in the right order. So things would jump around in one master PDF.

Using the index file opens it in a browser window referencing all the PDFs in content order which is different from the PDF filename order. Certain groupings of PDF filenames are in sequence but not entirely.

No problem. I got the idea from another member who posted up about the web.archive.org site. It basically shows a snapshot of what a website looked like on a particular day in time. That link just happens to go to a snapshot of the site as it was before they took the links down. Works with a lot of sites.

You are correct, the pdf files are not in the proper order. I got a little excited and flipped through the giant pdf file I had created and didn't notice that they were out of order until after I posted that.

The only way to fix it now would be to open each pdf file (1,411 of them) and rename each file as the page number. Then when you resorted the files and used the PDF binder tool it would put them in proper sequence, but man that would take a while. Let us know if you can figure out some other way. It sucks because I have all the pages there just not in the correct order which makes them pretty much useless at the moment.

Sorry I originally posted I had this working before checking it more carefully. Also, I believe if you have the full version of Adobe it allows you to move pages around. However, that would still be extremely difficult to put them in the right order.

Hi all. Searching for my truck's manual online eventually landed me here, and the download link on that Wayback Machine archived page was exactly what I'd set out hoping to find. So I put the PDFs in order as a sort of thank you to you guys for leading me to it.

Only problem is I'm not quite sure what to do with it now. Please PM me if you have a suggestion.

The last year for hard-copy factory service manuals was 2011 and they are not cheap.

    http://www.helminc.com/helm/Result....11&Category=&Keyword=&Module=&selected_media=

You can grab the '05-'06 PDF mentioned above for free. Another diyer option is from Haynes:

    https://haynes.com/en-us/toyota/tacoma/2005-2015

    Moving fwd, you also have:

    http://www.alldatadiy.com

    and Mitchells diy:

    http://www.eautorepair.net/app/Year...7Qo5C-BGuGsjTQh2vcBRMkqZ1BDxY9RBbUaAoXT8P8HAQ

AllDataDiy and Mitchells do not have current model info. It takes them a couple of years to catch up. You can go thru their sites to see what's available. You might also want to scroll their sites for what they DO NOT offer in a DIY subscription.

If you want factory service manual info in soft copy from 2012 on, your only option is -> http://techinfo.toyota.com - Online subscription - cheapest option awhile back was $15 for 2 days. There's a ton of info to download, so unless you have a lot of time, you may be looking at multiple 2 day subscriptions to get it all.
