    Good Morning,
Mr Tail Lamp covers on my 02 Tacoma have had the phillips heads stripped out from the years of use. I would like to replace them all while I'm still able to remove them. Toyota has the (longer)outer screws # 81519-87010 available nothing listed for the (shorter)inner screws? Does any one know of any interchange screws that will work? Thanks for your time

I’d just run to the hardware store and try a few sizes. It just needs to hold a few lb of plastic.

Order extra of the available longer screws and cut them down. If I remember correctly the head/diameter were same size.

I put security torx on mine. Don't want anybody stealing my red/clear TLs. I have extras. I'll sell you a set if interested but you need.to biy your own security torx bit if you don't have it already.

Will, Thanks for the offer on the security torx screws. I'm still looking for the phillips head in stainless, otherwise I might consider the security torx. I checked Homedepot today but the head is too large in diameter on the stainless screws they have. The oem screw head is approx 17/64" What is the head diameter on those security torx screws? Thanks, Frank

Thanks for all your advice. I ordered the (4) longer ones from Toyota and found some Gm taillight screws in my stash that where the same as the shorter ones . I'm good to go.

I was also needing a couple of these for my 1st gen Tacoma.
I was able to fine these at RK, they're almost exactly the same, just have a Torx head instead of phillips. )They were in the 'license plate' hardware bin.)
