    1st gen - it's got a built engine, a turbo, and waaaaaaay too much to list. 3rd gen - basic-bitch lift, S/C, Pro Wheels
    yes. There were no major differences in the 01-04 trucks. Mainly just options offered by toyota. Make sure you know which options your truck has and look at the wiring diagram to see if it mentions with or without certain options.

    I'm sure lots of things are the same or similar but I'm not aware. That being said I would not trust anything that's pinned at the ECU, and lots of wires are likely to be different colors. I have another post that has all the 1st gen ECU pinouts that I'd advise grabbing as well.
