Yea my brother in law is trying to talk me out of it. He said his temps are exactly the same as using the copper heat sink because he's so worried about leaks he checks his comp everyday. I might just up the ssd to a 2tb and get new ram to go to 32gb and call it a day.

Might I suggest a Corsair 4000D or 5000D. or 7000D if you want all of the space.

the leak stories are likely from petg hardline or lack of overtemp protection or alerts. I've read stories where fan hubs die or the fan curve changes, the liquid gets too hot and the petg bends causing leaks. I just put a thermaltake TF2 inline so I can get alerted from lack of flow or too high of temps.

I'd look at getting a 2TB m.2 if your motherboard has space for it. They go on sale every black friday for cheap. my 2TB Crucial m.2 was $130.

Do you need 32 gb ram? lots of chrome tabs in your future?
