Hello everyone. Was just wondering do you know or has anyone tried fitting a ‘96-‘98 4runner bumper on a ‘96 2wd tacoma? If so, pics would be great. Thanks

It’s going to look damn ugly because the 1995-1997 Tacoma front end sits almost 90 degrees while the 4Runner bumper sticks out a lot. It only looks right on 1998-2004 trucks.

    I don't understand either part.

It looks terrible with the newer 4R bumper below, the 96-98 might be a little slimmer and better fit :notsure:

The grille of the 1995-1997 sits 90 degrees in relation to the core support. The 1998-2000 and 2001-2004 sits out further and more angled.

    That is why I’m asking ‘96 - ‘98 4runner and not ‘98 - ‘00 4runner bumper on a ‘96

But look at all that room you have to mount 10 Harbor Freight lightbars!

I'm not sure the brackets will work going from a 4runner to 2wd Tacoma.
