It really is, they have challenging stuff, but always with easy bypasses.

So I also frequent another site similar to this but with a different focus.
There’s a thread tonight about camping fails.
    4th post was this:

Got drunk and sliced four fingers to the bone.

Got drunk and got lost in the woods until daylight.

Got drunk and fell in the fire.

Got drunk and boned a chick in the dirty lake.

Got drunk and lost our only vehicle keys to the fire.

Got too drunk to set up the tent so we slept in the cab of a regular cab Toyota.

Ok, who do we know with a regular cab Tacoma?

They have the exact same suspension lol

Plus, the geometry issues with ifs and solid rear apply pretty much across the board. As has been mentioned before. The taco frame with leaf springs acts like a giant torsion bar, so those are a little bit different than the SUVs.

Oh there will be some mods all right
If you are just looking for a fun ride and don't need to do any technical crawling I recommend looking at Google maps and any time you see any kind of public (national, state, county etc) land, head to it and see what it's got going on :)

    Welcome!

Check out the Lakewood/Laona district of the Chequamegan Nicolet National Forest. The best section, FR55552 has been closed indefinitely, but there are a bunch of dirt and gravel roads that wind through the woods over there.

Join us at Tigerton for trails as easy or difficult as you like.

There's a ton of cool stuff in the UP, but I've never visited, so I can't advise you there.

Disagree. IFS is inferior in technical situations because of a lack of travel.

Yes, I agree. It doesn't matter whether you do so by maxing out the travel, or with a sway bar. Either way, once a rear tire runs out of room to move up, it's going to send weight to the opposite corner.

But, if it makes everyone happy, I'll re-watch the Tinkerer video and happily eat crow if I'm proven wrong.

Whoever posted that - I would avoid interacting with them in any way beyond the internet.

See anything out of the ordinary?

Edit: I should add that "I" don't see anything. It's the only video I have of your truck with those shocks.
Figured maybe "you" might notice something.

True. I wouldn't trust anyone that hangs out with me.
