Yesterday, I replaced the right tail lamp assembly on my 2020 TRD. The new one fit perfectly. Popped it out, pulled out the three lamps, put them in the new one and put it back together in minutes. I turned on the tail lamps to make sure they were working, which they were, but didn’t bother checking brake lamps since it was such an easy swap out. TODAY, however, as soon as I start it up and hit the brakes, I get a “Brake Override Malfunction” warning and the truck will not go in gear. That’s just too coincidental to the assembly replacement to not be related. Fuse is fine. Any suggestions?

Never mind. Figured it out. Bulb had come loose inside the housing, somehow causing an overcurrent and blowing the fuse. I replaced the fuse and it immediately blew again. Reseated the bulb, replaced the fuse again, and problem solved. My I D 10T light was on.

    Welcome to the forum :hattip:

    Glad you got it sorted.

One of my personal rules of troubleshooting is "you always start where the last guy worked".
