Yep. Meaning we all have to wade through 90% of shit to find the 10% that's actually worth our time. Think of the time savings if everyone just applied the "Do I need it" question BEFORE asking for a that a boy from random internetters? lol

I don't understand sometimes. That question is the same as someone coming here to ask if they should sell their truck but also mentioning they're emotional attached to the truck and will be hard to let it go.

I truly wonder if they'll ask the forum if they should get marry, have kids, or get a divorce when the time comes.

It is kinda strange to want vindication from some random people you never met who just happen to own the same brand truck as you. To each their own though.

I remember when conventional wisdom was you don’t lock CV axles.

Manufacturers even tried to simulate a front locker with managing throttle input and ABS.

Then they were like, “people want front lockers fuck it let’s just do it.”

And then you have bronco forum enthusiasts breaking their front CV axles.

Meanwhile here I am with my four-cylinder with nothing locked.

The more I wheel, the less I can keep the both wheels of either axle on the ground all the time.
And sometimes I get just 1 wheel in the front with ground contact, and it's great not having to bump over every obstacle that presents that way.
Another use case would have been when I was trying to get up a fairly mild but greasy as snot, crowned and rutted incline.
There was no way to pull myself out of and away from the ruts
So a front locker make sense to me.
