Synthetic Winch Rope

My Synthetic Winch Rope is starting to show sings of wear and damage. I am going to change it. I want to know if anyone has done this? What size winch do you have? What size Rope did you go to or did you stay with the same size? And what brand did you go to?

OP. How long had you had this, what did you use it for, how much did it get used? Is it sensitive to UV exposure?

I have used the winch a couple of times to get myself out of trouble. It has been used multiple times for Elk recovery LOL bringing them up steep grades. The most damage was caused by the New Mexico sun before I got a cover for the winch.

 

I replaced the synthetic cable on both of the warn winches I used to own with the Harbor Freight replacement synthetic winch line. Worked fine for me.
