We actually put it in to attach a resi support bracket but doubles as a tower support.

    Made it to the ground!

Really happy that the inner fenders only needed minor work.

So I have this plan. I’ve been thinking so much about more power, more travel and just all around having a better front end.

I’m not a computer guy, I really do well with hands on. But, I think I’m going to design an entire bulkhead from cab forward, built around the engine and possibly diff and see exactly what I could do with the suspension.

The goal would be having a complete bulkhead done before I ever cut mine. Cut the frame rails, place and tie it all in.

There are so many aspects that just hurt the front end of these trucks in factory form.

Get a beamed ranger cut off the frame and graft the ranger front to the Toyota frame. Done.

Me too but it’s gonna have to come up some. Haven’t driven it yet but it’s sitting a bit stink bug in the garage.

Where you plan on having it sit in the travel range? I forget what percent comp and droop was optimal for tuning the front.

Wanted 60/40 (up/droop) which is where it’s sitting right now. May have to change springs

Cool 60/40 was what I was thinking too. That’s bump travel for days, as long as it clears your fenders and headlights. Wonder if the rear DMZ will finally be your limit. You could probably raise it up a tad like you said be closer to 50/50. If you’re strapping 17.5”, should be golden. I’m stoked for ya

What's the formula for figuring out tube length when notching? Say I have a measurement of x inches from end to end, what do add to make sure the cope is flush?

Been working on this thing for the last month.
Front is stock trd pro 2.5 internal bypasses
Rear is 3.0 16in internal bypasses. Rear is at 26inches of travel.
About 7 inches more uptravel than a stock Tacoma.
