I'll have to swing by my buddy's place to check out his logbook stuff but he just got the old girl up and running good. He told me to come over and try it out and see if I'd like one haha.

Do you have a pixel or a note? i think there’s known issues with those models but you can sideload around it IIRC. I know it works with other androids.

Went over to my buddies place to grab my wheels I let him borrow for a bit. And got to check out his new to him 88 Yamaha venture 1300. Honestly neat bike and super comfy told me I can ride it this weekend and try it out. Some neat things found in the bike thou. The custom pin strip that was done at a bike show and has the dudes signature on the back trunk. Plus this little drawing that someone has done lol.

    Lifted. Locked F/R. Method 705s. 37s.
I’ve had several over the years. I think my most of it was probably my small little CBR250R. 27 hp and about the most fun I’ve ever had. I could use every gear full out without getting myself in trouble. It didn’t weigh anything at all. I was able to lean it over further than I probably should have around any corner. Great little bike.

Got my Neo yesterday and had most of today off work (stupid zoom meeting got added mid day and ruined my long ride plans..) and got to test it out real quick. I'm seriously impressed. This is all right out of the box, no editing, just turn it on, click the mode, and hit go.

So this is a programmed circle, spins around you, then hovers and lands back on your palm. Basic, but hey, it works!

    https://youtu.be/ZkFId9eUrwo

Then this one is the follow me, which I was most intrigued by. This is the more basic version, there's another one where you can "push" the drone in front of you, but I wasn't able to get it working and ran out of time playing with it. It'll keep up up to about 15mph (2 minute mark) but then it'll pick you up again once you're back in frame (around 1 minutes is when that happens). I also thought it would come in to my palm.. it does not haha I have to go to it.

    https://youtu.be/mJA53wk4ouI

Apparently I can bluetooth my dji mic 2 to it to get audio, which I think will be sweet for the main videos I do.

I did one more mode where it hovers stationary and then will track you around it, but I'm guessing if you watched the last one you're already seasick and I don't want you to yak on your phone or computer.. so not posting that one.

I only have a 1440p monitor, so I can't really tell what the 4k is like, but I'll watch it eventually on a TV. Color is meh, there's no expandable storage, its only built-in 32 gig, which is annoying. Wouldn't be that hard to put a microSD slot on it. Battery life seems to be about 15 minutes of flying time. Hoping to try it with the controller for my mini2 this weekend and see how it flys in manual mode there.

Oh, and it's FREAKING TINY. It'll fit in my jacket pocket. It's footprint is about the same as a 4-pack beer carrier, if that means anything to you, maybe 1/2" bigger in each dimension.

I had to Google it but thought that little character looked familiar. When I worked for the Harley dealership I think we had him at one of our open house events. Scarecrow.

He's pretty famous in certain circles.

Was blessed with some unusually warm weather over the weekend for south-central PA so I had to take advantage of it. Saturday was in the mid to upper 70's so going for a ride was a must. I made the mature decision to take the Buell out then prep it for winter storage instead of waiting another month and having to do it when it was cold outside. Put almost a hundred miles on it then filled the tank with non-Ethanol 91 octane and added some Seafoam to the tank for winter slumber. Brought it home and put it on the lift table until Spring.

Sunday was almost as warm with nary a cloud so the 2013 FJR got it's turn. One of the FJR forums puts out a calendar every year featuring form members bikes. I got luck once and got my 2014 in a calendar so it was off to try and find a good backdrop for my bike. What do you guys think of these? [IMG]

I have until November 15 to submit my pictures and voting will go until the end of November. Next weekend is supposed to be decent and the bike does not have to be a FJR so I might try to get the Honda out and find a nice background.

The weather was beautiful here, we're very fortunate indeed.

I went back to NJMP on Saturday and rode Thunderbolt track, it was an awesome day. I'm still in the novice group but I was definitely quicker this time. Trying to work on body position and getting the feel of things, this time was getting lower hanging off a bit more and dragging knee in a few corners.

There were a lot of first timers so I was getting stuck in traffic. And since the event was sold out they weren't doing bumps, but think it's possible I could have been moved up to intermediate. Although I'm in no rush cause still have a lot to work on.

Thunderbolt is a fast 2.25 mile circuit so mostly everyone is on sportbikes but the 701 does great there. The stock gearing seems decent enough and I was hitting 120mph (indicated) on the straight. Also found out they ride supermotos on the go kart track there so I want to try that next.

Nice sunset at the end of the day, and moon was visible looking from the other direction.

The Michelin Power 5s have done well at my pace (front is older)

Supermotos are fun on kart tracks. That's what we used to race on.

701 feel lacking on long straights?

Yeah the smaller track would be fun I need to check that out.

It wasn't terrible on the long straight, I was passing some of the smaller bikes and people not getting on the gas. But annoying when big bikes fly by and cut in front then drop the anchor before turn one.

Yeah that's annoying. I think the weight of the 701 might be a little more tiring on a kart track. Just a lot of weight to toss through each corner.

Agreed I can see that getting tiring, would love to have an FS 450 or something lighter for kart track.
