We didn’t know there was a size difference between receiver hitches. We finally got our new SUV and the dealer finally got the receiver hitch installed. We have been waiting months to be able to get our bikes on the ground away from home. Then our bike rack was too small in the new receiver hitch. ??!! This is a really a good quality product and it was easy to install and the measurements were precise and now we are good to go!

I bought this to adapt a 1 1/4 hitch to a 2 inch receiver. on a lawn tractor. On opening the package, I was pleased with the quality of the product. My opinion changed when I put it in the receiver. It is a little small and will rattle and wear on the pin. That is if I could get the pin in. The hole will not line up. It is off by an 1/8 inch of going in far enough. It hits the receiver bolt on the tractor just short of line up. I have a grinder and can make it work, but I really do not need the aggravation........ A review update. The seller reached out and offered a refund for my troubles. NICE, but I have already modified it for use, so I really can not accept. I did change to 4 stars on the review.

I bought a used hitch mount bike rack on Facebook Marketplace and the seller did not have the adapter to accommodate a 2" receiver. So, he discounted the price $20.00 and I got this one. It is a solid aluminum tube that fits over your 1 1/4" piece that goes into the hitch receiver. It is painted black and will scratch but won't rust. There is only one large hole on opposing sides to accommodate your 1/2" hitch pin. I wish it also had a 5/8" hole for beefier locking pins, but oh well.
This is a little pricy for what it is, but it did do the trick...
