Plantar Fasciitis Facts
Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of heel pain and certain foot pain. The plantar fascia is the ligament that connects your heel bone to your toes and supports the arch of your foot. If you strain or injure your plantar fascia, it gets weak, swollen, and irritated which leads to inflammation. This trauma and inflammation causes heel, foot, and arch pain when you stand or walk. This pain can is often the worst in the morning after a night’s sleep.
Plantar fasciitis is most common among active men and woman who are on their feet a lot, folks who walk a lot, runners, and athletes. Occupations and activities that increase plantar fasciitis include nurses, military - soldiers, police officers, retail workers, running, walking, hiking, football, soccer, ballet, basketball, gymnastics, and more.

Highly recommend.
I can't comment on longevity yet as I've only had it a month or so.
I am returning the product and will continue wearing my walking boot at night.
I wear the braces to bed each night, and as other reviews suggested, I criss-cross the bottom two straps so that my heel stays put more securely. The braces gently stretch my heels and prevent that shortening of the tendon that causes so much early morning heel pain! I know that they are continuing to help me a lot, because if I ever go a night without wearing them, the heel pain is back in the morning!
You would think that it would be hard to sleep in these, especially for someone like me who deals with insomnia, but you really do get used to it. Initially if I woke up in the night and felt uncomfortable I would take them off, but in only a few days I could sleep in them all night. If I do end up taking them off in the night, I put them back on in the morning BEFORE my feet touch the floor, and let my heels stretch for about 10 minutes before I get up, and that is helpful.
Don’t plan on doing any walking around in these—they’re not designed for that. I can manage to shuffle to the bathroom and back if I need to while wearing them, but that’s about it.
I think for the price these things are excellent, and they hold up well. I’ve been using mine every single night for almost two years, and they’re still sturdy and comfortable, and keeping my feet happy!

It's quite bulky, and awkward to set up, but after tinkering to get it just right. It's also super comfortable, lots of padding in the right places so your heel doesn't hurt when held in place. It was easy to overstretch/hurt my tendon, but it gave me full control over the amount of stretch it applies (night braces are supposed to stretch out the calf, so this was expected) and I loosened it until I was comfortable.
It's the first sleep I've had where my heel didn't hurt in 3 months.
The other products similar to this come from "brands" that only have one product, I don't trust their reviews and I don't trust the quality of their products either. So I decided to shell out for this since it's a company that makes multiple products like this and looks like it isn't just a ghost company importing stuff from who knows where. No regrets.
