Great stove - Gets the job done
I purchased this along with another top brand to use on a two-week road trip to the Rockies. This held up to the other stove and was primarily used to boil water for coffee. Instead of using a big two burner stove, we used these backpacker stoves. My only problem with the stove was that the extendable arms dont really provide much stability for even a small coffee pot. Other than that, it's a solid product. The pizo starter saved headaches from trying to use a lighter in the wind, and the plastic case used to store the stove offers protection in tight spaces. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to save a couple of bucks.

This thing is great! First click it blasts right on every time, I never worry about it starting. The pot supports are light and thin but very sturdy and I ran the stove for a while with a pot on and they never warped or bent or melted. This thing boils 1 cup of water in 45 seconds, (no joke) its such a great product let alone it being dirt cheap. I would highly recommend this as a primary-secondary or gift to an outdoorsman or woman, they will love it. I usually use an alcohol stove for small quick meals and wood gasification stoves for larger ones or simply a campfire but this thing spoils you. Being able to simmer things and get such hot instant heat is truly amazing.

I paid full price for this product and did not receive any discounts or reasons to dissuade my honesty in this review.

Burns great but mine doesn’t light every time. I suspect it is the fuel I bought because I see it sparking.

I may try it with higher quality fuel than the stuff sold at Walmart.

I was torn between spending $60 on a name brand stove or buy this for 1/6 the cost. I bought two of these and just tested them both for a little over an hour each. They both lit easy and the flame was fairly stable even in a light breeze. They both boiled four cups of water in a 6 inch pot in just under five minutes. The first in 4:34 and the second in 4:47. This was from 76 degree water in 58 degree ambient temperature at 1786 feet. I used a 230g Jetboil Isobutane/propane mix fuel canister. Only use will prove the durability of these but they are small light compact units and I am very satisfied at this point.

It puts out a lot of heat. Enough to boil a camping cup of water in record time.
The folding up part is the best feature. It cools off in minutes, and the attention to detail in how it folds makes it very compact and less likely to be damaged .

It's case is unfortunately a bit flimsy, but it'll protect it well enough from a drop or two, but not water or moisture. This is only waterproof in the sense there's nothing to break. As long as you dry it through after, it should survive getting wet.

It's lighter than a candy bar and fits in the palm of your hand without the case.

Used this for a backpacking/camping trip on Grand Island, MI. Was skeptical because of the low price, was highly impressed when I used it. This little dude worked wonderfully and quickly boiled the water in my Stanley Two Cup Cook Set (24oz). The adjustable flame was solid and didn't feel flimsy, the "pot" felt secure on it and I wasn't nervous it would collapse or tip. I used a small Jet Fuel canister for fuel and it was a great pairing. This thing takes up no space when collapsed and could basically fit in the front pocket of your pants it was so compact.

I adore this thing for its ease of use and portability, but when I opened up the package for the first time I realized that the bottom of the container that holds it has a little hole in the bottom from injection mold I’m guessing. I just think this is a design flaw as this is sensitive to water (I believe) and even if it wasn’t, I think it’s an already cheap case being cheaper. I will probably replace the case with a leather one anyway, but other than the case this thing is a camping/backpacking MUST.

Consiglio vivamente l'acquisto.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it

Excellent little stove!
The 1st one I recieved had a faulty ignition so I emailed them and they sent out a replacement straight away which works like a charm. I took it on a 3 week trekking trip to Sweden and used it up to 3 times a day and it never let me down once. It even worked well in windy conditions with no need of shelter, while my mate (who had a considerably more expensive stove) had to hold a metal sheet round his to block the wind. It doesn't have a big surface cooking area but that is to be expected from something soo small and compact. I used it with a 750ml titanium pot which was plenty big enough to cook all my meals for the trip. If you ditch the plastic box it comes with, you can even fit it inside said pot along with a small gas cylinder to save space (though best to put it in a small material bag or something so as not to damage the ignition). Bargain for the price and fantastic customer service.

5.0 out of 5 stars Surprised It Worked So well! Recommended!
Reviewed in Canada on November 5, 2019
I own a few of these now. Bought one not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised at how great they work. Even in sprint and fall with the proper all weather Canisters they work well. Stay away from summer canisters in case the temperatures drop is my advice, because most ultra light stoves tend to fail with summer canisters, in colder climates. But I'd highly recommend this stove for most conditions, just not winters...get below -27C and it will fail likely. For that weather stick with MSR Whisperlite Universal with the cold weather adapter pump is my advice... But for most weather you won't go wrong with this tiny beauty! Very light and small. Perfect for use with Stanley's One Cup/pot. I've used it for three years and its holding up great!
