Product Description

The PE9 Penetrator is a 9" long reusable screw anchor made of lightweight heat treated aluminum. The hex head is easy to install using a 3/4" socket and impact wrench. The 1 1/4" cast in lip makes holding down or tying off exceptionally convenient with our optional tie off cable (PE-TC9). The PE9 has been tested to hold up to 200lbs and is a great option for securing erosion mats, canopies, awnings, tents, camping, and more

Purchased 4 of these 9" earth augers to secure the synthetic pad for a newly installed mini split HVAC to the ground. Long enough that 6 inches remain to auger into the ground. With 4 total securing the HVAC pad into the ground, they provide a solid, tight, secure hold. With the HVAC secured by 4 separate bolts, it is going nowhere in the event of an earthquake; however most importantly, good enough to pass permit inspection!

I have two cast aluminum lawn ornaments, sandhill cranes. I drilled a 3/4" hole in the base of the birds, and drove the anchors into the ground. Worked great. Not one has flown away.
