The connectors I received are very poorly made. In fact, I would characterize them as defective in design. The metal piece that contacts the conductors is properly sized, but the red plastic body is much too large for 18-22 gauge wire. A 12 gauge wire would easily slip right in. A consequence of this is that 22 gauge wires are just barely captured by the metal connector piece. On top of that, the end of the connector body that should be closed on one side is partially open due to poor molding. Better to buy the ridiculously overpriced name brand connectors and not worry about frustrating assembly and possibly insecure connections.
