I was attempting to use this to "hem" blackout curtains. The cheapest I could find someone to hem them was $50 a panel. Ridiculous. This said it was meant for curtains and extra strong. I feel like that is accurate but I basically had to scorch my curtains to get it to work. I had my iron on the hottest setting. It took a lot of pressure and a lot of sustained heat on it to get it to work.
