Great tool for clamping, grabbing and removing springs from drum brakes

The only variable for this purchase is : How thick is the wire of your spring? If your return spring wire (the big heavy one that retracts the shoes when the brake is released) is thicker than 7/64", you don't need this tool. The slot in the tool MIGHT take 7/64" wire. The other springs can be done without it. The Honda return spring can't be done with it. The manufacturer states specifically on their website the tool is for import car brake springs. They could give the information on what size wire fits but then they wouldn't get purchases like mine.

Addendum: After filing the slot for 10 minutes I got it to fit the heavy spring. Now I'm left wondering "On what vehicle is this a better option than a long nose locking pliers?"
