    After reading the other reviews I wanted to share my experience. It is true that the actual filter does not look like the one on the box, however, my filter was indeed a Fram filter. I added a photo of the Fram logo printed on the filter along with the product number and “made in China.” It blows my mind when people automatically assume that an “American company” doesn’t outsource work to cheaper developing countries. Yes this is a Fram filter. Yes it is made in China. Just like most Dodges and Fords aren’t even built in the USA, it doesn’t mean that they are “fake.” No matter how you feel about it, it is what it is and this filter seems to serve its purpose. ALSO, notice that there are 3 rounded corners and 1 pointed on the filter. Not paying attention I almost put the filter in wrong. It’s a simple process, but that pointed edge placed incorrectly kept me from closing the air box. Hopefully it doesn’t for you!
