Upper Control Arm Reinforcement welds

I bought the total chaos upper control arm reinforcement and have no idea weather or not i’m supposed to weld the back of it to the shock tower. Please help.

 

I would say that needs to be welded..

Unless you take the engine out it's going to be hard to weld the backside effectively. I did those and just welded the outside.

 

I’d just grind a bevel so it would get full penetration and then run two hot passes and be done with it

 

You're not going to get to the back without pulling the engine.

Weld what you can and send it.

 

Mike @Digiratus installed those and dislikes them for a bunch of reasons. What is your goal in installing them?
