Added some footwell lights from VLeds. They come one when doors are opened or truck is unlocked. You can have them dimmed at different brightness when you turn on your headlights/running lights.

Hey everyone! I can’t figure out how to upload the video I took, so it’s made into the link above. Does anyone have an idea what would cause both tires to move when only 1 side is jacked up in the air? It doesn’t take much pressure to move them like that. I’ve noticed lately that when I hit the brakes, the steering wheel shakes, but I don’t feel the shake in the brake pedal. Does that sound like the steering rack is going?

Shake in the steering wheel while braking is usually a front rotor issue.

That’s what I’ve always thought. I’m just confused on how the other tire moves so much when I was trying to check the tie rods. The big thing that has me wondering is last April when I had the truck’s state inspection done at the dealer that I bought it from they told me it failed inspection because the steering rack was leaking. I declined them doing the replacement for $1400. I was called a couple hours later by another service advisor and told the truck was done and ready for pickup. I got to the dealership and amazingly it was passed on the state inspection with no steering rack replacement. I took it back to that dealer this April and it passed with no issues at all. I think I’ll go the route of changing the rotors and see if that clears everything up. Thanks man!

Purchased Alpha Rex Headlights and found some X-Runner rims on OfferUp. Solid weekend.

Can anyone confirm the hub cap part# 42603-AD040, please let me know if that's correct.

Finally got around to swapping in the Iron Bison side steps. Seems quality, will see about longevity.

So I guess it was your bearings? I’m gonna check mine when I do the rotors at the end of the week.

That makes more sense, because I don’t remember seeing bison in NM. What kind of work do you do?

I used to work for the New Mexico environment department and actually got to survey wetlands in Ted turners huge ass ranch in northern NM and got to camp with his herd of bison randomly.

I am currently a restoration biologist in Yellowstone.
