What is this unused plug/harness in the dash under the stereo?

    There are a lot of unconnected harnesses behind the dash. Likely there for another option package.

    OP, since your digging around the vehicle, verify if you have this connector:

    It's behind the Combination Meter (gauge console) Border poops off no tools, then 4 screws to release the gauge console.

    funny you ask as I am about to swap out the cluster lens for one that wasn't scratched up the week I purchased the truck because it is the softest/cheapest plastic on the planet. So will keep that in mind and keep an eye out for it
