Used every single curse word in the English dictionary… but I installed my Barricade HD Stubby Bumper. This involved removing the ENTIRE front bumper. There’s a special type of fear while deconstructing a brand new 2023 truck less than a month old. As a not so mechanically inclined person, this was a big challenge; but here it is and extremely happy with how it turned out:

If anyone is thinking of going this route, hit me up for some key points.

I went with smooth also. Install was pretty easy minus the crawling under the bed and pushing up the brackets with weight on top.

My reason was it looked cleaner. I almost went without cleats.

The correct answer would be: n+1
Where n= Current number in possession.

Totally get it, plug into the USB port for Android Auto......2 hours later banging head against wall. Oh yeah, work phone and they turned off USB sharing.....no matter how simple, it will take me a long time. I guess i should have more patience than i do.....

I used this for awhile until my better half changed the required formula to n-1+1.

Looks good, I’m torn between a DB cover or a topper. I’ve always run toppers on my trucks, but whenever I take them off I remember how much I like the truck look. Kinda leaning towards the DB, but there’s pros & cons to both.

I finally installed a hood strut. Why Toyota does not install these factory is befuddling…

For anyone considering upgrading to the awesome Subaru KICKER tweeters (H631SFJ101) there is a 20% coupon code (HDY22) available to use at subarupartswarehouse.com. They are great speakers and I have used them in 3 Tacomas. The total price is now $75 including tax. There may be a shipping or pickup handling charge added at checkout.

Uhhhh, paint? lol. I was going to use the Krylon Hammered black to match my other bed hardware but didn't realize I was out of that paint so I just grabbed whatever gloss black I had in the garage to match the powdercoat. I think it was another Krylon product but it didn't stick very well without primer (likely dude to it actually being cold that day in Phoenix). Should have just went with brake caliper paint.

just one? that seems odd, but hey if it works it works......my only concern over time would be stressing the ends where the strut connects...there's a lot of pressure there now and not '' shared '' by another strut.
