We got a WiiU last October and it's pretty fun to play. My son likes it and I enjoy Splatoon on it. Still like the xbox 1 graphic wise though. Not really a comparison between the two consoles though.

The only part I don't like so far is taking the controllers off the controller handle every time to charge them when I am done. I realize I could probably let them go for multiple sessions, but I'm OCD like that. They should have made the controller dockable.

That is just nit-picking though. The console and Zelda are f'in awesome.

Playing Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on my old school Wii at the moment. Love this game so much it's motivated me to buy the Switch for Breath of the Wild. I can only imagine its like Twilight Princess on steroids.

Yeah I was going to wait a few years to pick on up but my wife really seems to want one. It's crazy though, in Canada they want $399 for it. That's the same price as a PS4 Pro...

Picked up a Switch yesterday. Went with MarioKart 8 as the first game because my g/f actually likes playing MarioKart. Will pick up BOTW in a bit.

And that didn't last long... purchased Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Binding of Isaac, looking to pick up Has Been Heroes as well.

Breath of the Wild is amazing BTW. It's almost overwhelming how much stuff there is to do.

my first run, beat the 4 beasts, beat ganon, almost 90 shrines, shitload of quests, like 150-200 korok seeds, and only 29.XX% complete. to be fair though, the korok seeds are like 70% of the equation.

I got all 120 shrines, but it took a lot of searching and a little cheating by looking up online. Korok seeds, meh, I just took the ones I found. After the first 40 or so they get pretty useless compared to the effort of finding them. I haven't seen the % completion, I'll have to look for where that is shown.

i like the added equipment slots from the seeds.

the completion % is on the bottom left of the map view after you beat ganon.

Definitely, the new slots are vital to success, or at least your sanity, lol.
What I meant though was that the first one uses 1 seed, then 2, and then 5 I think, and by the time you've added around 5 new slots it takes 30+ seeds, so it isn't really worth it anymore...unless you already have the seeds, of course.

    Cool, thanks!

Getting the New Nintendo 2DS XL for my son for his birthday. Can't find a Switch around here. Went in Target yesterday and they have a stack out loaded with Mario Kart 8 and all types of accessories. Behind the glass, they have even more accessories, controllers, etc. Don't see how they sell any of it. Kinda need the actual Switch to be available. I stop in mornings and evenings, randomly, in my local Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. Have yet to see one. When I do, I'll probably want to bash it into pieces just for being such a pain in the ass to find.
