don't even know where to start. Haven't got a chance to look at it closely as it's dark out. Just wondering what you guys recommend before I get started on the repair. I don't want to put the seat back up until I get this fixed. It won't be able to come down.

looks like I may have to take the back of the seat off and put a new pull strap on. Anyone?

Pull the seat back (plastic) off and see how to reattach either a new strap or some 550 cord.

Strap looks fine. No need to replace it unless I'm missing something.

Looks like whatever method it is attached needs redoing.

thanks guys. Will wait for a day off to do this. Actually the photo doesn't show but it ripped at the bottom of the strap. Gonna use something beefier since I put the seats down often

Stitch it across the break with some heavy baided fishing line, cover the stitching with two part epoxy, let dry, put a grommet into the hole, reinstall and be done with it.
