Hey everyone, I'm located in so cal and I'm finally going to get a 2016. Can anybody recommend a dealer in So Cal that's great to deal with and is willing to negotiate on price? Thanks in advance.

2wd or 4wd? If 4wd forget about it, I had to go out of state.

I bought in Oregon. Dealers are stingy in Cali.

Yeah everyone is right about price.

Tacoma's sell so quickly that dealership owners and GM's aren't really willing to bend. I've only seen $500 below at this point.

As far as a dealership to deal with, I happen to know a guy.

My gf's father is one of the fleet managers at Norwalk Toyota and he's one of the most honest and considerate individuals I know. He's been there for a couple of decades and is good at his job.

So, if you'd like to get his cell phone number and give him a call, just send me a private message.

Either way, good luck on getting a '16! I love mine!

Merced toyota gave me 1k over invoice on a 4x4 off-road dcsb no tech and Madera beat that with 700 over invoice on 4x4 off-road dcsb with tech/jbl. Greg is from merced and Javier is from madera, these are the people i talk to

    Just to clarify.

My (almost) father in-law can do $0 mark up on any Tacoma that IS NOT a TRD PRO.

He just can't really get away with $ below invoice.

Sounds interesting man, can you ask him what a 4x2 dcsb sr5 would cost? If it's in a good ball park it might just work out. Black gray or silver.

No offense, but I'm really not trying to get that involved.

For me, this is more of a good for you/good for him kind of situation. I don't get kick backs in any way, just offering up the connection and shouting him out.

I think at the very least you will find him extremely helpful. I know he has a great relationship with other dealerships and can work out trades to get the truck you need if it's not on his lot.

He's just a good guy to know with Toyota.

So yeah, if you'd like his cell, send me a message and I'll gladly give it to you.

    Have a great night!

I purchased my 2015 right when it landed in august 2014, the best I could've gotten a 2014 DCSB OR TRD was $800 under msrp(but none were available). Paid MSRP plus tax on the 2015, bought an extended warranty and put $1000 down. Right now I'm sitting on 6-7k equity with this truck, with any other vehicle I'd be lucky to have half that equity.

I only deal with fleet managers, I can't stand dipshit salesmen. And it doesn't hurt to have a great credit score or already be pre approved thru your bank, you deal with a lot less bullshit from the finance department.

I was getting my trans fluid checked today and looked at some of the new Tacomas on the lot today. I saw one that was an sr5 4x2 dcsb with an aftermarket lift, rims, tires, and running boards. Stupid truck was 40k. Marked up 10k for the "upgrades" reminds me why I didn't do business with these guys in Cali.
