I have done a search and found several people looking for what I am looking for but not many good options as to where to get it. I broke the plastic piece that sits on the step below the license plate on the rear bumper. Anybody know where I can get one of these?

Looks like the piece in the pic below.

Searched and did not find anything about how difficult it is to take off and put a new one on. Any help would be appreciated.

I have been looking for just the caps (that cover the bolts and ball hole mount) as mine were stolen. No luck unless I want to spend $$$$$.

Are the bolts the ones under the caps so I need to remove them first? Or are there some other bolts underneath? Thanks.

    I attached a diagram....

The two bolts you need to remove are on the underneath side (one toward each end) [90119-A0048 in the diagram] and the two clips are on the top side [52161-04010]. And the clips are under the two small square flaps [52169C] that you pop up with a flathead screwdriver. The bolts under the raised caps hold the rest of the bumper together and don't need to be removed. When removing mine I remember the clips being a pain in the a$$ and I broke them while trying to get them out. There's probably an easy way to remove the clips but I couldn't figure it out

For the clips use a small screw driver and pry the top part up and the bottom part will come out with it

@sdnicker2000...I got my parts from Mike Howell at Toyota of Newnan. He gave me 30% off of standard dealer price and like $5 for s&h. You might want to shoot him an email at mikeh@toyotaofnewnan.com and see what price he can get the caps to you for. Based on the diagram in my earlier post, you'd need part 51997B if you have the towing package, or 52592 if you don't. Worth a shot.

    Sorry if it's overly detailed.

    Tools needed:
    - 10mm socket
    - Small putty knife
    - Small screwdriver
    - Small hammer
    - Flat-faced drive punch

    Removal:
    - Remove capscrews underneath bumper using 10mm socket
    - Gently pull up the square covers [52169C] on top using a putty knife
    - Getting under the washer ring, gently pry up the clips [52161-04010] using a small screwdriver [they are mostly plastic, so be careful not to be too rough]
    - Bumper piece [52159] should slide out towards you easily
    - Gently pop out bolt caps [51997B if you have the towing package, or 52592 if you don't] and center ball hole cover [52591A] being careful not to break the catches underneath them [they are somewhat flexible]

    Installation:
    - Install bolts caps and ball hole cover onto the new piece
    - Slide piece into place and replace capscrews underneath but don't tighten fully
    - Line up the clip holes with the holes in the bumper [you may have to press the piece in hard]
    - Gently tap the clips back in using a hammer and a flat-faced drive punch [didn't have one handy so I used a socket extension]
    - Replace square covers [press in by hand]
    - Tighten capscrews underneath and you're done
