Another question. I have this problem on my fender flare lining. IMG_0464.jpgNot my truck but very similar problem. It's coming up at that point as well as on the front end and back end of the flare. What would be the best fit?

Best bet would be maybe see if Loeon's has 1. It would be cheaper than the dealer. Also see what kinda clips hold it on and get some of them as i bet they snap when you remove it but IDk how they're held on on first gens

I think I understand what your saying. There's a liner that goes between the flare and the body panel. the exposed beed is seperating. No real way to fix that I know of that'll hold (and look good) other than replaceing it

I just realized that it really sucks to be young with no money. Lol. I'm at work right now (lifeguarding but no one wants to swim in freezing water) and all I can think of is what I can do to my truck. Please leave any recommendations for cheap (and I mean really cheap) mods I can do on my truck.

So far, @Casper66 mentioned removing the letters from my truck. I've also seen some stuff done with plastidip. :annoyed::help:

So far, that has been my entire build thread. It sucks being older with no money because of kids and life's responsibilities. Don't sweat it, just enjoy the planning and daydreaming.

Don't sweat it man! Sometimes when we run low on "mod money" it's just best to appreciate what we already DO have. And you DO have a great looking truck bro!

If you're into blacking out the chrome, just Plastidip the bumper chrome...if you don't like it, you can peel it off. Differential breather tube mod is pretty cheap and easy too, if you haven't done it yet.

The rear axle housing has a small valve on top to allow for ventilation. However, when in deep water, it can allow water to seep into the differential. The mod is to thread that valve out and thread in a new port, to which you clamp on a hose, like fuel line hose, and run it up into the bedside some where higher, like the taillight pocket, gas door pocket, etc. That way the differential can still vent but water can't get in. You can find it described better I'm sure here on TW. Sad thing is, I have yet to do it and I work in a shop.o_O
