    This hub assembly was installed on a 2007 4-Runner that had developed play and noise in the left front wheel bearing. New part arrived in one day and was significantly less expensive than locally. Both seals were included and luckily not damaged. It's amazing that the metal inner hub seal isn't always damaged in shipping due to the inadequate packaging that you can see in other's photos. Anyway, I didn't use the inner hub seal since I had replaced it last year with a CV axle replacement. There was no manufacturer identification on the bearing itself. Part installed easily with the correct tools and procedure. Hub cap seemed tighter than on the old hub and was somewhat difficult to install. Hopefully the bearing holds up for a long time.

    I have not installed this yet but a few things to note:

    -The bearing itself is made in china as the hub assembly is stamped CHINA. It seems to be decent but I have my doubts about it holding up as long as an OEM bearing. It was a decent price and in theory a nice replacement kit as it comes already pressed together and comes with the seal for the back side of the knuckle.

    -The seal I received wasn't badly mangled but it was bent/dented in one area and as it is a seal it should be perfect if I'm going to install it as a seal. So I will not be using it. I found a few options here on amazon but the shipping will take too long so I will try and see what the dealer parts department can offer.

    All in all Dorman could easily fix the issue of the mangled seals if they took a few extra seconds to tape it securely in the box. The hub and bearing seem okay, but just that, I don't think they are OEM quality. But if it gets me by for a few thousand miles that's fine and I will take my OEM hub and press out the bad bearing and replace with a Toyota sourced one.

    Will try and update this accordingly as time goes on.

    If you have the time and means, it would probably be more worthwhile to source a new bearing from Toyota and press out the old and replace with the new as well as a Toyota sourced seal.

    Toyotas are the best vehicles in the world. They just last with the routine maintenance. Sadly, the new Toyotas made in CONUS are not what the real Japanese made ones once were. My 07's lasted for about 90k miles. Once the bearings go, those "sun of beaches" make some crazy noise when driving. These fit nicely and the price is right. They are so easy to replace that a blind mind could do it over a weekend. As for longevity, I gave it nothing for stars because I have no freaking idea how long these will last. My Tacoma goes all over and I do some light off-roading in the backcountry when I am in Colorado or Utah and other undisclosed areas. I need someone to remind me to post an update in about 6-8 months to see how they are doing. I would buy them again. It is easier to buy the assembled hub than to only replace the bearings. Get you some!!!

    Lots of reviews on here say the seal that comes with this hub was damaged in shipping. I was hoping it was a problem that was fixed, but nope. Mine came absolutely destroyed. Even the internal box from the manufacturer was torn up, it is a very lightweight box from the manufacturer. The seal was inside a small single bubblewrap kinda half envelope, but was in with the big block of steel that is the bearing. This is going to get absolutely destroyed any time it goes in the mail. This is 100% manufacturer packaging, so anyone who orders this will have exactly the same problem until dorman spends a few dollars on better packaging.

    Dorman may as well be putting a fresh donut in with the hub. when it arrives at your house, you will get a perfectly fine hub, and a box full of crumbs.

    Either don't buy from this manufacturer, or expect to buy the axle seal separately to get one that isn't imitating a taco. the stuff I order from other manufacturers like Moog come in heavy-weight 200 or 300 lb test boxes and this problem doesn't exist.

    I took my car in for an inspection, and the dealership in horny that I needed to replace a wheel hub bearing. The cost for this replacement including parts and labor was $1,200. Being handy, I knew I could replace the entire assembly with a pre-assembled part, so I bought this Dorman wheel hub and installed it.

    The installation took a few hours, but mostly because my car had significant rust and required me to break some bolts and drill out a couple cotter pins.

    Take time to watch the installation videos on YouTube, so that you reassemble and the proper order. Many videos do not show the installation of the new replacement axle shaft cover, so do not reassemble until you have installed it. Also be careful to reinstall the replacement o-ring in the correct location.

    Overall and replacement part works. It's only been on for about a week, so I can't speak the longevity, but the part works, and I was able to pass inspection for less than $150 including a couple tools and various components (grease, cotter pins, etc).

    I purchased these because when driving down the road I could barely have a conversation with other passengers due to the extreme rollercoaster growl/vibrations of the bearings wearing out when speeding up and slowing down.
    When shopping for wheel bearing assemblies for my truck I was a little hesitant to go with this brand based on other Tacoma owners from Tacomaworld-DOT-com, but I’ve had them on the truck now for over 5000 miles and they still are same as when I first installed them so we’ll see you later on as the miles go on.
    As with any bearing replacements the old ones were a pain in the butt to take off but these new ones seemed to go on smoothly

    Good fit, works for about 60k+ km no issues. I do not think it is as good as OEM but is much cheaper. & assembled hub means you do not have to worry about issues such as seals & pressing the bearing backwards. The bearing has on it magnetic strip that has to face the sensor (i.e. on the outside - easy to see) no video I ever watched mentioned that bearing pressing has to be done with magnetic strip facing out. Also you have to have proper seal under it. Getting a hub is a quick replacement without having to worry - if you press bearing backwards it is now junk and you need a new hub or new bearing. Bearings are double row angular type - it is amazing that such strong looking bearings are the main failure point on Tacoma with average lasting no more then 150,000km OEM, less for not OEM. Cheap Chinese bearings are junk and fail at around 30,000km - not worth it at all.

    Haven't looked too closely at the rest yet, but the seal was damaged upon arrival. There is an imprint in the cardboard from the seal where I assume it was dropped. Very disappointed as I have been in serious need of this part as my bearing is pretty bad and now I'm going to have to wait longer. Will fix my review once I figure out how to correct this.

    The product was missing the O-ring. And the the seal was so badly bent it was not usable. I had to go and bu these at the local parts store.
